Las Vegas Birthday Vacation
July 22nd to July 29th 2020
Why did I go to Vegas for my birthday when there is a Pandemic Happening?
There are a lot of reasons why I selected to go to Vegas for Birthday during the Coronavirus Covid-19 Pandemic. For starters, there are a lot of positives that has happened during the month July. However, for every positive, there has to be a negative. With that in mind, it seems that the negatives have out weighed the positives causing me to only think and dwell on the negatives.
But why during the pandemic?
Well …. the Coronavirus is everywhere. At this point, there is no way to stop it. As long as one is following the safety protocols along with following some self-guided safety protocols, you will be fine. Yes, even with following the protocols, there is still a chance of catching it and getting sick. However, we need to get out and start living again.
If you stop and think about it, a restaurant and a hotel is most likely safer than your own home or a family member’s home. How do I figure? Because they are constantly cleaning but yet we only clean when we are ready to cook or when someone is coming over. That is something to think about.
Flight to Vegas - July 22, 2020
Nothing to excited. I arrived to the airport, found my way to the gate then found a restaurant to grab a bite to eat. Yes, I ate a salad. Didn’t want anything to heavy before boarding the plane. The plane was not that crowded. Everyone that did not fly with someone, they were able to have their own section. Everyone wore their masks and their was not drama over it. The clouds were awesome to watch though. Very peaceful!
First Night in Vegas - July 22, 2020
My first night in Vegas. I got checked in to my room and then walked around town. I didn’t take much pictures this night. But, I did see a lot and experienced a lot. While out and about, I found Hell’s Kitchen. I was able to make a reservation for 1 on Tuesday night, July 28th, 2020 at 4:30p. I eventually came back to my room and then went downstairs to play some of the games. While downstairs, I met Alex. We had a good time hanging out.
Mob Museum - July 23, 2020
These are the pictures that I got of the Mob Museum. This was an excellent visit. There was just so much that I would have to take a picture of and the recordings of. Maybe, I will need to come back for another visit just to get more pictures. However, I do recommend anyone and everyone to visit this. I learned a lot about Tampa and Denver. Some, I already knew. A lot, was new information that tied together some of the things I already knew.
5 Star Helicopter Ride - July 23, 2020
For my Birthday Present, I decided to take a Helicopter Tour of the Strip and of Down Town Las Vegas. I took Alex with me, the person that I met the previous night. We had a good time. The shuttle driver that picked us up, the customer service concierge team at the office, the pilot himself, and the shuttle driver back. I do give this a 5 Star Rating! This was kind of pricey for the short time that you are up there, but this was great! Even if someone is afraid of heights and afraid of flying, I do suggest this 100%!
